Hello there! We are looking for a positive and motivated person for a paid internship position to assist our industrial design team. The period is Autumn 2020 (August-December).
About us
Idesign is a design consultancy located in the shipyard on Långholmen, in the heart of Stockholm. We work with industrial design in many different fields, but our main focus is public transportation and sustainable mobility.
Your day to day
As an intern at Idesign, your days will be quite varied. We’re a small office, so everyone is expected to help with the various tasks around the office. The majority of your time will be spent on projects, either as a part of a team or on your own, both for clients and on internal projects. However, you might also be expected to help clean the workshop, organize our material cabinets and make errands.
Requirements
For us it is important to find a candidate that is able to work on projects independently when it is required. As such, we see that you have studied minimum two years in industrial or product design school, and preferably have finished your bachelor’s degree.

- Proficiency of Rhinoceros is necessary.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is necessary.
- Proficiency in V-Ray is highly valued.
- Proficiency (writing & speaking) in English is necessary.
- Proficiency (writing & speaking) in Swedish is valued.
What you can expect from us
During your time at Idesign you will have a dedicated mentor that will support you in your work and development. You will work on real design projects for interesting clients. After your time here you are of course free to use us as a reference for future employers. Personal wellness is important at Idesign, and as such we try to stick to 8 hour workdays, do physical activities such as play badminton and have at least one all hands coffee break every day.
