Tram Concept – Skåne region

The region Skåne in the south of Sweden plan for tramway in the three cities: Lund, Malmö and Helsingborg. Idesign has been responsible for managing the general design intentions to match the three cities’ vision of how the vehicles should be designed.

The design concept for the street architecture, platforms and stations was created by Metro Architects. We worked together with them to ensure that the design concept stayed coherent between the three cities. During the process, our guiding principles were timeless, minimal, subtle, honest and transparent. You could summarize it as Scandinavian Design with a twist.
